Sweeping vistas, atmospheric anomalies, cultural statements and colourful palettes.

All these elements and more can combine in an infinite number of ways to create a scene that is special. The challenge is to tweak composition, lighting, aperture, focus and shutter speed to either reproduce what I'm seeing with my eyes, or to emphasize an aspect that either explicitly or subliminally moves me to capture the scene in the first place. The result sometimes drifts from the original intent, but always inspires a sense of wonder. In a world of over-saturated, in-your-face Insta-images, I tend to let Mother Nature have the glory. As such, the most colourful of my images are often straight out of the camera, with only mild contrast or exposure edits. I hope you like what you see, and that these images inspire you to get out in the real world and just... see.
